The best fried chicken I've had. Prices were amazing too. 5 stars hands down! Highly recommend
The people working here were very nice. Chicken and Waffles: Overall 4/5. I am going to grade these two food separately. The waffles started out as a solid 4/5, but by the time I was done I was kinda tired of the flavor, so 3/5. The fried chicken breast I ordered on the other hand started out as a 4 and stayed great until the last bite. If and when I come back I would like to try the fried chicken sandwich.
Ok Kieth, I see you out here! Waffles on point. Delicious is the best way to describe. Me, my son and nephews hit this place up around 10pm on a Friday. We sat and played cards while we waited for our waffles. The aroma of waffles crisping on a waffle maker totally enhance the experience. I would highly recommend ordering on site and waiting for your food vs calling in and picking up. Also the hot syrup is the way to go! Chicken was tasty and fresh. Thigh was crispy and juicy. If you are in Daly City stop in give Keith a try!
Normally don't eat soul food a lot so don't mind me if you do. A little expensive but besides Brenda's, I see this is as a viable option. Their home made syrup was delicious along with the waffles. Not sure if the chicken was suppose to be the last underwhelming of the dish but if it had really good piece of chicken on there, that would just be perfection. Chicken was still good tho don't get me wrong, great crunch , moisture, just a little extra season maybe could've bright it up a notch
Food was on point! Meal included the main plus a side and soda-- all for a good price. Customer service was great--Keith is very friendly and considerate. Don't know where else you will find real and great soul food in Daly City.
We ordered the eminem with Mac and cheese, the 2 pac with candied yams, and the 6 piece wings with fries. They were nice and let us get the red velvet waffle instead of the regular. Everything was yummy. I recommend sitting down and eating everything fresh at the restaurant. The chicken was well seasoned and the bbq wings were juicy. The regular and red velvet waffle were both delicious. The Mac is also good but will start separating after a while
i've always seen Keith's driving through daly city, but today was the day to try it out. inside is very small, but the customer service is extremely nice and attentive. there is also inside seating, but it was pretty cold, so i got takeout i ordered the 8 piece chicken, some waffles, the bombin' mac n cheese, and i skipped on drink as it was out of service 8 piece chicken and waffles (8.3/10) juicy, crunchy chicken, with legs and thighs. pair with some hot sauce, its elite. waffles good bombin' mac n cheese (7.5/10) flavorful mac n cheese, you can taste the cheese and taste, but my mac n cheese was runny overall, great chicken and waffles, elite customer service, but mac n cheese was too runny for my taste. ill come back to give second opportunity w mac n cheese thank you, Keith
I guess it kind of depends on when you get the chicken and if they just took it out the fryer or not! When we ordered it for takeout, seems like it was still hot even when we made it home and into our mouths. All that were left were bones :) the red velvet waffle was amazing too. *drool* poured the entire syrup and butter packs on while it's still hot so it'd be a 'melt in your mouth' type situation. lovely. They seasoned the 3 piece chicken really well this time. juicy meat. the hot crispy curly fries made it all the more better, my weakness!! ordered around 5 pm so they probably expected a dinner crowd so the meat was fresh. good place every once in a while when we're craving some good ole' fried chicken!
Awesome soul food place located in Daly City, found it with my friends one day while roaming for places to eat at. It's definitely lowkey and a locals favorite. The Mac and cheese is amazing and the Belgian waffle is soft and delicious! Chicken tenders are nicely seasoned with pepper and are HUGE! 10/10 place recommend for folks to give it a try
Found this little place sandwiched between a car shop and a gym when I was hungry nearby and nothing else looked good and I wasn't disappointed. The inside looked a bit cheap, but fit with the theme. Most of the combos are named after famous rappers which matches the decor. Even if you don't like rap, it won't affect your experience here because the food is tasty. Everything is made to order, which is a bit unusual for some restaurants with fried chicken because they want faster service. So it took 15 minutes for my food to be made, but oh was it worth it. I upgraded my combo to the Red Velvet waffle and it came with white and chocolate drizzle. The maple syrup on the side was perfect for the fried chicken. The chicken was also excellently seasoned, which isn't always the case. I got the Mac &Cheese for a side which was also well seasoned. Definitely felt like a nap afterwards but was worth it.
